Articles : The Effect of Soybean Paste and Red Pepper Soypaste Adding Cordyceps on Cardiorespiratory Responses and the Change of Blood Components
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of soybean paste and red pepper soypaste adding cordyceps on curdiorespiratory responses and the change of blood components. In this study, subjects consist of 14 middle-aged male (7 male of an experimental group, 7 male of a placebo group). Anexperimental group ingested soybean paste and red pepper soypaste adding cordyceps for 12 weeks (3 times a week, each 40g), and they performed aerobic exercise of 60% V O_(2)max and anaerobic exercise of 70% 1RM. A placebo group ingested soybean paste and red pepper soypaste subtractin cordyceps for 12 weeks, and they performed acrobic exercise of 60% VO_(2)max and anaerobic exercise of 70% 1RM. V O_(2)max 29 was used for the measurment of cardiorespiratory responses, tidal volume and lung volume for measuring pulmonary funtion, Tango was used for measuring blood pressure, and ETACHEM was used for measuring blood variables. 10cc of blood sample were drawn from an antecubetal vein, and the measurment of blood components were serum GOT, GPT, triglycerides, glucose and lactate. The result of this study through ingestion of soybean pasts and red pepper soypaste adding cordyceps were as follows. First, HRrst and systolic blood pressure (SBP) were significant (P<.05) in an experimental group. Second, Thire, serum TG, GOT, and GPT were not significant between two groups. Fourth, serum Glucose was significant (P<.01) in an experimental group and significant (P<.05) in a placebo group. Firth, Lactate was significant (P<.05) in an experimental group. As a resutl of this study, it is suggested that the ingestion of soybean paste and red pepper soypaste adding cordyceps could be considered more than necessary study.
Key Words: soybean paste and red pepper soypaste adding cordyceps, cardiorespiratory responses, blood components
